Aadhaar-Based Enrolment For Social Security Schemes The country’s largest lender State Bank of India ( SBI) has introduced an innovative solution they are providing customers with social security schemes with  Aadhaar-based enrolment, where the scheme including Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), and Atal Pension Yojana (APY). This move will increase the enrollment process as interested customers will streamline the faster and more convenient enrollment process of the social scheme.

SBI started Aadhaar-Based Enrolment

Chairman Dinesh Khara praised this innovative Customer Service Points (CSP) functionality, he said that it is a testament to SBI’s dedication to improving financial inclusivity and social welfare through digitization, which will make the process of social security schemes enrollment smoother and more accessible to all individuals, especially those who have faced challenges in navigating traditional financial systems. The schemes which are included in this are  Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), and Atal Pension Yojana (APY) which will break the barrier that limits each of crucial social security schemes which represented in it.
