Dream 11 The popular fantasy gaming platform Dream11 had become the main jersey sponsor for the Indian cricket team from July 2023 to March 2026, replacing Byju’s, with a base price of Rs 358 crore.

In recent sports news, the Board of Control for Cricket in India ( BCCI) ended the sponsorship of Byju until the end of 2023 for the sum of $55 million. After the new bid recently Dream 11( The previous sponsor Oppo was paying ₹4.61 crores per match) won the deal at the price of Rs 358 crore, after the Indian cricket team is being without a jersey sponsor ever since Byju’s exit.

Dream 11- How the bid is done?

After the exit of the Byju exit at the end of the financial year, New Jersey sponsored the Indian Cricket Team for the remaining period of time, till the BCCI is able to find a new bid for official sponsorship for an Indian cricket team. Recently, the BCCI had invited the bid, in which money was provided for a bilateral fixture where the sponsor’s name is in the middle of the shirt, where the centre of the jersey will carry the country name and sponsor’s logo. a BCCI source tracking the development told PTI “Yes, Dream11 will be the new jersey sponsor of the Indian team. You can expect an announcement in a few days’ time,”.
