Semicon India 2023 PM Modi inaugurated Semicon India 2023 with the aim at focus on Investment Opportunities in India’s Semiconductor Sector with Expert-led Discussions, which are aimed at exhibiting  India’s semiconductor strategy and policy, with a vision to position the country as a global hub for semiconductor design, manufacturing, and technology development.

India had invited prominent companies such as Foxconn, Micron, AMD, IBM, Marvell, Vedanta, LAM Research, NXP Semiconductors, ST Microelectronics, Grantwood Technologies, Infineon Technologies, and Applied Materials, at the conference to be concluded on July 30. The meeting inaugurated a 6-day exhibition with Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, with the presence of Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi with the Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Electronics and Information Technology, Communications, and Railways, Government of India. On the occasion, Bhupendra Patel said “Due to his efforts in making India ‘aatmanirbhar’ (self-reliant), we are achieving those targets which once seemed difficult or even impossible. Semiconductor is one of those sectors which India has been chasing for long,”
