Started his study, at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism in Evanston, Illinois. where she was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism and earned developmental honours in history, she joined the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps Programme and was commissioned in 1985. She furthered her education at the Naval War College and obtained a master’s degree in organizational management from the University of Phoenix.USA current president Joe Biden has nominated Admiral Lisa Franchetti to lead the US Navy, after the Senate’s confirmation, Franchetti will become the first female member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, which consists of chiefs of the Army, Navy, Air Force and others. In the past, she had served as director for strategy, plans and policies of the Joint Staff from 2020 to 2022, the second deputy chief of naval operations for war-fighting development in 2020 and commander of the United States Sixth Fleet from 2018 to 2020.
