Maharashtra Government conferred Tata Group Chairman Ratan Tata with the 1st -ever-prestigious Maharashtra Udyog Ratna Award

Udyog Ratna Award Recently, the Maharastra Government conferred the Udyog Ratna Award to the Tata group Chairman Ratan Tata, provided by state industries minister Uday Samant. Udyog Ratna Award is initiated in line with the Maharashtra Bhushan Award, to honour entrepreneurship spirit in the country and state alike.

In the adjourned meeting with Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar the industries minister of state stated that “Just like the Maharashtra Bhushan award, which is presented to distinguished persons, the state government has decided to confer the Udyog Ratna award to Ratan Tata,” Often known for his social activities, Ratan Tata had been head of the Tata Group for over two decades, in past he had already received the Padma Vibhuhan, the second highest civilian honour in India, after receiving the Padma Bhushan, the third highest civilian honour in 2000, where his most recent award is of Australia highest civilian honour Order of Australia
