Prime Minister of India honoured with Lokmanya Tilak National Award in Pune 

Lokmanya Tilak National Award in Pune  Adding to the accolade, the Prime Minister of India had been conferred with Lokmanya Tilak National Award in Pune for his exceptional contributions to the progress and development of the nation at the 103rd death anniversary of Lokmanya Tilak,  instituted by the Tilak Smarak Mandir Trust in 1983, aims to honour the lasting legacy of Lokmanya Tilak. With it, PM Modi becomes the 41st distinguished individual to receive this esteemed recognition.

About the Lokmanya Tilak National Award in Pune 

On Tuesday, PM Modi had been conferred with Lokmanya Tilak National Award at an event in Maharashtra’s Pune on Tuesday, when he was in the city to launch various development projects and received the award that was constituted by Tilak Smarak Mandir Trust in 1983. The award is provided to people who have worked for the progress and development of the nation and whose contribution is remarkable and extraordinary. Expressing his gratitude, PM Modi said, “This is a memorable moment for me. Lokmanya Tilak had a unique ability to identify young talents, Veer Savarkar was one such example.”
