G.K Satish in Roseneft The former Indian Oil Cooperative ( IOC) director Govind Kottis Satish a new Board Member of Russia Energy Giant Rosneft thus increasing the enhancing trade ties with India.

In the annual meeting of June 30 announced the appointment of Indian Oil Corporation director G.K Satish as a new member of its board which consists of a total of 11 members who are seeking to explore oil and gas fields in Russia. Through the agreement, Rosneft had entered into a long-term agreement to provide Satish with a total of 6 million tonnes of crude oil annually, where it deals with other refiners including Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (HPCL).

G. K Satish is former director of Indian Oil Cooperative ( IOC) who had 30 years of experience in the area of marketing operations, logistics, business development, International trade, Natural Gas Business and human resources. Retiring at the age of 62 with the post of director for business development at IOC, while holding the additional chairmanship of Indian Oil-Adani Gas Pvt Ltd. From the educational background, he is a graduate of  Medical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Surat and he has done post-graduation in management from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon.
