He had secured multiple championship victories, encompassing the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, the ECW World Heavyweight Championship, and the WWF Tag Team Championship. Most known for his fights with such as Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, Mick Foley, and Bret Hart. With it, he appeared in several Hollywood films, including Roadhouse with Patrick Swayze, Paradise Alley, and Over the Top with Sylvester Stallone with the appearance of Quantum Leap and Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction. During his career, he had appeared for All Japan Pro Wrestling, Extreme Championship Wrestling, the International Wrestling Association of Japan, Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling, the United States Wrestling Association, World Championship Wrestling, the World Wrestling Federation and was appeared for promoter of the Amarillo-based Western States Sports promotion.
