3D-Printed Post Office in Bengaluru Union Minster for Railways, Communications, Electronics & Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw integrated the 1st 3d printed post office in Bengaluru’s Cambridge Layout near Ulsoor. Using contour crafting, this post office, with an area of 1,021 square feet was built just in  43 days by employing quick-setting materials and a specially engineered robotic arm.

Completed in just 43 days—– two days ahead of its deadline— the building cost 2.6 million rupees ($31,249 approx.), which is 40 per cent less than the conventional construction expenditure building the convention office Build by Larsen & Toubro Limited under the technological guidance of India’s prestigious engineering institute—the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras it is built with the surface area of 021 square feet, at Cambridge Layout in the city in Bengaluru
