Brucellosis disease. As per a recent update, a rare disease named  Brucellosis, caused by bacteria capable of infecting both animals and humans, which a 7-year-old student from Kadakkal in Kollam has tested positive for Brucellosis.

After the medical report had been confirmed, the girl was admitted to SAT Hospital (Government Taluk Hospital in Kadakkal) with a severe fever, increased platelet count and a swollen face, after she started showing symptoms by the second week of June.
