In the year April 2023, the European Commission and the Ministry of Civil Aviation in India jointly organized the EU-India Aviation Summit in New Delhi, in which the Director General of Civil Aviation ( DGCA) and European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) collaborated for the purpose of the unmanned aircraft in India, while including the cooperation in the areas of development of certification standards and environmental standards,  licensing of personnel, training, air trafficking management and infrastructure, including Unmanned Aircraft System Traffic Management (UTM) standards and services. With the MoU, it is expected to bring harmonized standards and accelerated growth of the Indian unmanned aviation sector. (ANI)
