5th Helicopter and Small Aircraft Summit, themed ‘Reaching the Last Mile: Regional Connectivity through Helicopters and Small Aircraft’ took place in Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh

5th Helicopter and Small Aircraft Summit The 5th Helicopter and Small Aircraft Summit, was organised on 25th July 2023 at the Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh which was organised by  Union Minister for Civil Aviation & Steel Jyotiraditya Scindia. This was jointly organised by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Pawan Hans Ltd., and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, FICCI, where the theme of the summit is “Reaching the Last Mile: Regional Connectivity through Helicopters & Small Aircraft”.

The 5th Helicopter and Small Aircraft Summit is done to enhance the scope of the UDAN scheme in remote & hilly terrain while bringing the industry stakeholders together to engage and collaborate with policymakers for better aviation while providing Boost Helicopter & Small Aircraft connectivity to places with existing and potential tourism hotspots by providing uninterrupted services. With it, the Minister of Civil Aviation told the media that the government is building a civil enslave with the cost of Rs 861 crore where the present Srinagar will be expanded 3x from 20,000 square meters to 60,000 square meters for Rs 1500 crore during past Helicopter and Small Aircraft Summit whose theme was ‘Helicopters for last Mile Connectivity’ at Sher-e-Kashmir International Conference Centre, Srinagar.
