The government consisted of 19 Member Committees to  Revise NCERT Textbooks

NCERT Textbooks revamped The central government has revamped NCERT books with the member 19-member National Syllabus and Teaching Learning Material Committee (NSTC) chaired by NIEPA chancellor MC Pant. These 19 member includes Sudha Murthy, Shankar Mahadevan, Sanjeev Sanyal, and others who they will entrust with aligning curriculum with the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-SE) under the National Education Policy (NEP)

NCERT Textbooks revamped

The  19-member panel committee called the National Syllabus and Teaching Learning Material Committee (NSTC) will be chaired by Mahesh Chandra Pant, the chancellor of the National Institute of Education and Planning in Administration (NIEPA), and co-chaired by Professor Manjul Bhargava from Princeton University. Whatever material is created will be used on the provided terms of reference, to be submitted to the Ministry of Education, where an initial draft of the framework was released in April.  The National Syllabus and Teaching Learning Material Committee (NSTC) will develop the school syllabus for Classes 3 to 12, and revise the existing textbooks for Classes 1 to 2, where they had invited feedback from different shareholders in India.
